Catalog Search

To find a specific book, please search our catalog.

Facebook & the Library

Our Facebook Page is a great way to see what is going on at the Library.  If you like what you see, "like" us.  Please "share" the posts you love the most with your friends.  Through messaging questions and comments can be sent to the Library.

Donate Your Books

The library is happy to take donations year round. Donations can be brought to the circulation desk in the library. If you need help bringing them into the library, just ask at the desk. Books not put in to our collection are passed on to the Friends of the TPL for their twice-a-year book sales.

Downloadable E-Books & Audio Books

E-books and audio books can be accessed by going to the bottom of the catalog screen and click on "Download Audio/E-Books." A Library card is required to use this service.  If you have any trouble downloading a title please call the Reference Desk for assistance (254-298-5702)

First Monday Book Club

Our library sponsored book club  meets on the 1st Monday of the month (except when the 1st Monday is a holiday, when they will meet on Tuesday) at 6 p.m. in the Library Board Room. Members periodically brainstorm the books to read for the next few months, so you never know what will be on the list. Everyone is welcome. If you are interested in getting a list of the upcoming books, call the library administrative office at 254-298-5559 and leave your email address so you can be added to the list to receive the email reminders.

Our Staff Picks list is issued quarterly, and is very popular with our patrons. The list can be found on the 2nd floor of the library next to a display that holds titles on the list.

To find out about selected new books at the library we have newsletters which highlight different types of books. You can sign up to have the newsletters in the subject areas of your choice emailed to you once a month, or you can just look at them on our website. If you see a book you'd like to read you can search our catalog directly from the newsletter. If the book you want is out, you can always put a hold on it and we'll mail (or email if you've given us an email address) you a notice.

Book Alert

The Book Alert program lets you ask for email when new books come in for specific categories (novels, mysteries, non-fiction, etc.).

Online Book Clubs

You can also sign up for our online book clubs and read a portion of the book each day for a week. At the end of the week if you want to finish the book, look for it at the library. There are a number of different types of book clubs to suit every taste. Choose the icons below to sign up. You can sign up for as many book clubs and newsletters as you like, and there's no charge to you because the Friends of the Library are sponsoring this service for us.
