Just Keep movin'! Join "KP" as she leads these extremely popular exercise sessions designed especially for those with mobility issues or have difficulty standing while exercising. Slow stretches and comfortable balance exercise, while seated or in contact with a chair, will help tone and strengthen muscles to increase mobility and flexibility. Gradual use of hand weights and stretch bands is also incorporated. Easily adaptable for those with physical limitations.

Using special breathing techniques and slow, precise physical movements, Tai Chi, an ancient Chinese exercise, promotes vitality, balance and strength. In addition, it can help curtail arthritis, respiratory disease and high blood pressure. Regular practice of this "moving meditation" also provides health benefits of stress reduction, mental alertness and increased energy. Each class concludes with a meditative period. Adaptable for all levels of mobility.

Unlike most Martial Arts, training at the Temple Bujinkan Dojo is conducted in a friendly and non competitive atmosphere. Under the guidance of black belt instructors, students train together assisting each other in learning the techniques. Because Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu relies on naturally efficient body movement, rather than strength or speed to overcome an attacker, the training is safe, stimulating, and accessible to any adult regardless of age, physical condition or previous martial art experience. Class format is monthly sessions and classes meet weekly (Mondays and Wednesdays). Pre-Registration Required.
