    Just keep movin'! Join "KP" as she leads this extremely popular exercise session designed especially for those with mobility issues or who have difficulty standing while exercising. Slow stretches and comfortable balance exercises, while seated or in contact with a chair, will help tone and strengthen muscles to increase mobility and flexibility. Gradual use of hand weights and stretch bands are also incorporated. Easily adaptable for those with physical limitations.

  3. Senior Safety Driving Tips

    This presentation is a traffic safety education program designed for the adult driver, focusing on ages 55 and older. The most important topic covers being aware of the effects that aging has on your driving abilities including sight, hearing, reaction time and more. This program is a collaboration between Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest and the Texas Department of Transportation. The 2nd part of this program, entitled CarFit, is a quick yet comprehensive review of how well you and your vehicle work together. A trained CarFit technician will ask several questions and complete a 12 point checklist and you leave with recommended car adjustments and adaptations, resources and a greater peace of mind.

  1. Cooking Camp

    August 17, 2018, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Gober Party House

    Sauté, simmer, slice, bake, and blend to create delicious foods! Campers will create an assortment of dishes and desserts, as well as learn all about cooking safety and reading recipes. Space is extremely limited - only 12 campers per session! August 13th session will be Brunch & Breakfast Dishes. Pre-Registration Required.
