    Just keep movin'! Join "KP" as she leads these extremely popular exercise sessions designed especially for those with mobility issues or who have difficulty standing while exercising. Slow stretches and comfortable balance exercises, while seated or in contact with a chair, will help tone and strengthen muscles to increase mobility and flexibility. Gradual use of hand weights and stretch bands is also incorporated. Easily adaptable for those with physical limitations.

  5. Taijutsu for Adults

    Unlike most Martial Arts training at the Temple Bujinkan Dojo, Taijutsu is conducted in a friendly and noncompetitive atmosphere. Under the guidance of black belt instructors, students train together and assist one another in learning the techniques. Because Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu relies on naturally efficient body movement rather than strength or speed to overcome an attacker, the training is safe, stimulating, and accessible to any adult regardless of age, physical condition, or previous martial art experience.

    The all new 2017 American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor course is designed to teach current lifegeuard the information and skills needed to succeed as an instructor. After passing the course, instructors will be able to teach the following topics: Lifeguarding, Shallow Water Lifeguarding, Aquatic Attraction Lifeguarding, Waterfront Skills, Water Park Skills, First Aid, CPR/AED for professional Rescuers, Administering Emergency Oxygen, and Bloodborne Pathogens.

  2. Red Cross Lifeguard Certification

    Gain the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, respond to, and care for aquatic and land emergencies until EMS can take over. This is a Blended Learning course, so register early to complete the online coursework before classes begin. Expect the online course to take 8 hours. Cost includes a Manual, Pocket Masks, and Hands-on Training/certification. You must register at Sammons Indoor Pool at least two weeks before class begins. Apply to work for the City of Temple and only pay $35 for your certification!
