This ancient Chinese exercise promotes vitality, balance, strength and longevity. Using special breathing techniques and slow, precise physical movements, Tai Chi can help curtail arthritis, respiratory disease and high blood pressure. This on-going course is adaptable for all levels of mobility. The sessions conclude with a meditative cool down. Led by Scott Worsham who has been practicing this exercise form for over 25 years.

Just keep movin'! Join "KP" as she leads this extremely popular exercise session designed especially for those with mobility issues or have difficulty standing while exercising. Slow stretches and comfortable balance exercises, while seated and in contact with a chair, will help tone and strengthen muscles to increase mobility and flexibility. Gradual use of hand weights and stretch bands is also incorporated. easily adaptable for those with physical limitations.

Warmth and happiness abound, not only from the brightly-colored crocheted blankets, but from the hearts of this unique group. The circle of friends meets once a week to create beautiful, handmade crocheted items which are then donated to local nursing homes, hospitals, hospice centers or other needy causes.

Unlike most Martial Arts training at the Temple Bujinkan Dojo, Taijutsu is conducted in a friendly and noncompetitive atmosphere. Under the guidance of black belt instructors, students train together and assist one another in learning the techniques. Because Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu relies on naturally efficient body movement rather than strength or speed to overcome an attacker, the training is safe, stimulating, and accessible to any adult regardless of age, physical condition, or previous martial art experience.

Join this GIRLS-ONLY enrichment group! Participants will become more self confident and improve self esteem, while learning new skills in this non-threatening environment. This group allows your daughters a safe and fun place to just be girls! They will develop new friendships and enjoy time spent together. Each week will feature different activities like cooking, arts & crafts, jewelry making, etc. The club meets every Wednesday afternoon.

Taijutsu relies on naturally efficient body movement, rather than strength or speed. Students use these methods to learn to successfully deal with various self defense situations. Learn the skills to move your body naturally and efficiently by leaping, tumbling, and climbing in a fun atmosphere. Previous martial arts experience is not required.
