Entertainment Announcement for the 2017 Bloomin’ Temple Festival

Temple Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce that Tejano Music star, Gary Hobbs, will appear on the CEFCO Stage at the 12th Annual Bloomin’ Temple Festival presented by H-E-B on Friday, April 28th, 2017.


Gary Hobbs' rise among Tejano Music's elite performers has taken years of hard work and determination. As an artist with a great tradition of excellent music, Hobbs has his very own style, making him one of the most versatile singers in the Tejano Music Industry and has amassed hits such as Las Miradas, Amame y Besame, Te Vas A Acordar and Por Favor Corazon.


Hobbs has won several BMI Awards with songs Por Favor Corazon, Corazon Ardiente, Comprendeme, and Buscando Un Amor and also charted several songs on Billboard’s Latin Charts. His non-stop touring, recording, and dedication to the Tejano music industry have earned him the respect of his peers and adoration of his of fans.

The 2017 Bloomin’ Temple Festival presented by H-E-B will be held near E. Central Avenue and S. 4th Street in downtown Temple on Friday, April 28th and Saturday, April 29th. The festival will feature all day entertainment, two musical stages, 21 bands featuring the acts in Hip Hop, Tejano, Red Dirt, and Country Music, a Kid’s Zone, carnival, vendors, food trucks & more!
